FAQs
Do you offer virtual therapy?

We honour the richness of diverse cultural backgrounds, traditions, and identities. Our approach is rooted in continuous learning, self-reflection, and a commitment to providing affirming and inclusive care.

How do I join a session?

Once your appointment is booked, you’ll receive a secure video link via email. At your scheduled time, simply click the link—no downloads or special software needed.

What can I expect in a first session?

Your first session is a space for us to get to know you—your story, your goals, and what you’re hoping to explore in therapy. We’ll go at your pace and make sure it feels like a good fit.

How long are sessions, and how often do we meet?

Individual sessions are 50 minutes. We typically meet weekly or biweekly, depending on your preferences and needs. We’ll work together to find a rhythm that supports your wellness.

Do I need to be in crisis to start therapy?

Not at all. Many people come to therapy simply to deepen their self-understanding, navigate life transitions, or build emotional resilience. You’re welcome here, exactly as you are.

What are your fees?

Individual sessions range from $150–$165, depending on the therapist you work with. All sessions are 50 minutes in length.

Do you offer sliding scale rates?

Yes, we offer a limited number of sliding scale spots based on financial need. Feel free to ask about availability during your consultation.

Are your services covered by insurance?

Services provided by registered social workers are often covered under extended health benefit plans. We recommend checking with your provider to confirm coverage for therapy with an RSW (Registered Social Worker).

How do I pay for sessions?

Payment is made by e-transfer or credit card after each session. You’ll receive a receipt you can submit for insurance reimbursement or keep for your records.

How do I book a session?

You can book online or connect with us through our contact form. We also offer a free 15-minute consultation to help you get a sense of whether we’re the right fit.

What’s your cancellation policy?

We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to the full session fee.
